Artists and Educators

Fine Art Tutor

I am one of the founding, qualified tutors here at Art Uncooked.

I deliver a range of Drawing, Painting, Art History and Print - Making courses and workshops, both online, and face to face throughout the North West.

I love to deliver joint workshops with the other tutors hereat Art Uncooked, where we can bounce off each other's creativity and give you the benefit of our different skill sets and expertise!

My background is in Illustration, following up with an M.A in Fine Art, specialising in abstract painting and print - making.

I have worked in Community Arts, Further Education, Adult Learning and as a published Art Critic in collaboration with London - based Arts Collective "Art Love".

My own art work has featured in a number of on- line and physical magazines and exhibitions.

I have a very varied grounding and appreciation in a variety of styles, subjects and media and I hope that you will enjoy the benefit of my experience through the content of the course and the feedback I provide to you.

Arts and Crafts Tutor

Hello!

What I bring to the table is a wide range of experience in different techniques and materials in the arts and craft world.

I have a BA HONS in Illustration and a PGCE in Textiles with 7 years teaching experience across Art, Textiles and every type of craft you can think of!

I have worked with ages ranging from 3 to 93 and also enjoying working with adults and young people with disabilities and additional learning needs.

Craft and making a mess, getting creative and experimenting, enjoying the experience and the wellbeing benefits of creativity are the things I love.

My focus and passions are around challenging the ideas of what being a good artist or being able to draw really mean, supporting people to break down those barriers and enjoy Art!

Illustration Specialist

Hi there!

I teach a wide variety of art based courses, watercolour, book illustration, portraiture, mixed-media, abstract painting… the list goes on. I have previously worked at Liverpool City College teaching fashion illustration, fine art and fashion design. I am currently teaching adults in the community. My Masters degree is in Illustration so I guess that’s my specialism but I love to have a go with all sorts of media and subject matters. I collaborate with my sister (she teaches art too) and we sell bit s of work online or on market stalls find us on instagram @alongtale we use mixed media and focus mainly on the animal kingdom. When I’m not teaching or painting, I am cooking and planning the next good time with family and friends. I spend most of my time being Mum to a teenager and a toddler ( and a cat, dog, two bunnies and four chickens!) Any how… looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing your creations.
